This month Gerda provided us with this adorable Daschund digital image to create with. I printed the image off on Strathmore 140lb. watercolor paper. The card panel was cut with the largest stitched rectangle from Lawn Fawn. I then used my distress markers and ink pads to color the image and background. I love how the sky turned out. It really looks like clouds floating through the air! I was disappointed in the color of the heart balloon because it was supposed to be purple and ended up looking like pink. Oh well – still super cute! I used the clear Wink of Stella marker to add glitter to the heart balloon and then covered it in Glossy Accents. I also added glossy accents to the dog’s nose. I also stamped the sentiment using Violet’s ABCs from Lawn Fawn and Versafine Black Onyx ink.
Thanks Gerda for another great digital image!
Hi Beth, love your watercoloring and I think the color of the balloon works wonderfully. Thank you for playing along, again. Gerda
